Promotions are fun!

Rimmel Promo @ Boots At Powergirls we are always looking for people who are smartly presented, polite, reliable, punctual and articulate with an outgoing personality to become Powergirls demonstrators, we also have opportunities for both ladies and gents. Experience is not essential but you must be a quick learner with an aptitude for sales and be happy to approach customers in-store.

Powergirls promote a wide range or products e.g. health and beauty items, small kitchen electrical goods, gadgets, etc. in major high street retail and department stores. We also supply people to help with exhibition support, new store openings, mystery shopping, and make-up demonstrations. Our employees are, of course, covered by Employer's Liability Insurance (in PDF format).

Each job is different and will involve reading a Product Brief to enable you to chat knowledgeably to customers about the product, actively encourage sales, hand out samples, leaflets, etc. At the end of the day you will need to fill in a Report Form which will yield vital feedback to our clients. You will be a "Brand Ambassador" aiming to increase product awareness and sales uplift on the day.

We aim to offer you work to suit your availability - you let us know when you are free and we will advise on the work we have available in your area. Please note, we cannot offer you permanent work, we offer short-term daily contracts for specific jobs.

  1. Do you enjoy meeting and talking to new people?
  2. Are you reliable and a good timekeeper?
  3. Will you conscientiously read a Product Brief and fill in a Report Form at the end of the day?
  4. Will you be proactive and tell people about the benefits of the product and encourage sales?
  5. Are you willing and able to work flexible hours? e.g. Weekends, lunch hours
  6. Do you have a permanent National Insurance number and are you eligible for work in the UK? You will be required to send in original documentation to support this
